If you have a blog, you should already be using the google sitemap plugin to index your blog for Google’s search spiders. But what about your blog videos? Google has great directions on what your videositemap should include but it is impossible to build by hand.

Good news, several programs are now available to automatically build a videositemap for your blog. Once you haveĀ  built a videositemap, then all your blog videos are now indexed and and ranked by google. The best part is that when your blog video appears in the Google searches, when a visitor clicks on the link to view the video, they are taken directly to your blog and not through one of the video sites, such as YouTube. Than means your site gets the visitors directly.

So what are the steps you need to get your videos on the sitemap?

1. Pick up the Google Videositemap Wordpress Plugin and install it on your wordpress blog.

2. Embed your blog video in your post and title the post with the keywords you wish to be searched for.

3. Click the Regenerate button on the GVS Plugin.

When someone is starting an online business it is important to build a strong persona. Now we begin with that persona and we create the information around it. When I first start working with someone, this is what I tell them. In order to make a strong persona who people will put there trust in you has to submit to a new program.

What I want you to do is to map out everything for the next 90 days. Get some help from a SEO expert. You’re going to write a blog posting every day. Make 2 videos a week. Do one audio a week. Tweet 10 times a day with something that is interesting. Ask question on certain websites that will prompt others asking more.

When we start off with that process, it might look overwhelming to a lot of people. They might say that they can’t create that much content at that level. Well if you can’t do this, you need to back up and regroup. You need to decide what it is that you want or are you in the wrong business. Most people say that can’t do this because they are not prepared for doing it.

So step number one is to map out what you are going to do. You’re going to be doing one blog for each of the next 90 days. You’ll have 24 videos. What are 24 questions you can ask about the product or service you are going to sell?

Now take a look at the audio. You will be doing 12. Ask yourself 12 questions and start to write content around that question. Select a theme and work around it. With the one posting you are doing on your blog, you can also go out and start to write comments on other people’s blog. Just don’t spam, blend it.

Leave the post something open ended where it will motivate others to leave comments. You want to be on top of the search engines with the keywords in your category. This is where you will do your research ahead of time. Pick good phrases so that other people will find you.

Pick your keyword phrases and put those in the title of your blog posting that you write. Put the keyword at the beginning and ending of the article you write. Most people don’t think about doing stuff like this. If you plan everything right it will work.

Now that your 90 days are up, you can write a blog posting 3 times a week, one video a week, an audio every other week with tweeting a few times a day. There are all kinds of social media to market your products and services on. Check them all out. That is what I do when I start my online business.
